NHS Plus support for 'Healthy staff, better care for patients'
NHS Plus and the NHS Health at Work Network are working in partnership with the Department of Health and NHS Employers to support ‘Healthy staff, better care for patients'.
Through our Quality Strategy we are helping occupational teams develop and improve their service. This work includes:
- Working with the RCP and Faculty of Occupational Medicine to develop the SEQOHS accreditation approach
- Developing occupational health practitioners through an acclaimed leadership and improvement programme run by Durham Business School
- Launching the new NHS Health at Work Network and Board
- Creating an OH service procurement template to be issued through NHS Employers in the autumn
- Providing a generic costing model and template business plan
- Appointing a team of Quality Strategy Facilitators to support NHS occupational health teams preparing for SEQOHS accreditation
